Happy labor free weekend from The Hoots! Caleb and I met half way in Baton Rouge and in all honesty, it’s going to take a lot to make me leave. Okay fine, I love my Houston job... . My sister-in-law has spent the better half of 6 years bragging on her best friend, LSU, and friends... I met Mike the tiger today and this is it. I am a sucker for college. AND THIS FOOD. . Caleb’s favorite beer is @southernstarbrewingco ‘s Humidity and you BET I grabbed a few packs for him to take back to Alabama. Our relationship has been so much fun but this distance has taken it to new levels. While he gives me Michigan football grace, I give him Texas beer and that.... that’s love. . Happy Labor Day weekend from the hooting Hoots!

I’ll admit it, all these babes starting their school year is bringing back some serious blues. Where did the time go? Not for them, but me!? It feels like yesterday that I was in Mrs. Mill’s 2nd grade class making “puppy chow” in giant Kroger bags! . In honor of the ever adult I am, tonight’s dinner is as budget as they come. Yet, totally satisfying my every craving for a school lunch. . Turkey BLT’s are up with a side of egg salad. Yup, you heard that right. I was quite the child in my taste. Got to go, I can’t be late to cheer practice! Coach Debbie hands out demerits like cupcakes and it’s too hot to run!
