Don’t you just love when a recipe can be a dipping sauce, a dressing to a salad, and a condiment on a tasty burger!?
I know I do!
I love it when I can make something that can be used for more than just one recipe.
I think you’ll find that appreciation when you make this Spicy Green Sauce. Although, I can’t deny that my favorite use is over a nice big salad and a burger comes second in line.
Spicy Green Sauce
Makes about 1 and 1/4 Cup of
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 of an Avocado
3/4 Cup of Almond Milk + additional, if applicable
1 Tablespoon Homemade, or purchased, Mayo
1 Whole Jalapeno*
3 Clove Garlic
1 Large Lime, juiced
1 Handful snipped Cilantro
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
*Although this recipe is meant to heat your mouth, omit seeds from the jalapeno for a more mild flavor.
Directions
- In a blender, or smart stick immersion, combine and blend the avocado, almond milk, mayo, jalapeno, and garlic.
- Once well incorporated, add the remaining ingredients and continue blending until smooth. If you desire a thinner sauce, feel free to add additional almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Transfer to an air tight container, or mason jar, and store in your fridge for up to one week.
