Chinese! Chinese is just so comforting to me! It’s always been the quick solution to a lazy night and totally worth the reward for all of our busy days full of hard work!
This skillet is a one pot item and has totally saved me from grabbing the Hunan Village menu and eyeing Caleb for approval. I got a little obsessed with takeout before our wedding because, well..
Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!
2 T Olive Oil
1 lbs ground turkey
1/2 head cabbage, sliced or chopped
1/4 onion, finely diced
1 carrot, diced
2 cloves garlic
1/2 t ground ginger
1/4 C coconut Aminos
1/2 t Red Pepper Flakes
Sesame seeds, optional topping
Add ground turkey to skillet and begin browning. Season mixture with ginger, Coconut Aminos, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper and continue cooking until turkey is fully cooked.
Add in chopped cabbage, and cook on medium high heat, stirring often, until wilted and all ingredients are incorporated.
Sprinkle with additional red pepper flakes and sesame seeds.
